We went with Steve's mom and stepfather to the beach at the end of May. We had such a great trip. We went to visit Moogie and Grandpa in New Orleans on the way. John rode with Situ and Jidu and they went to Biloxi on the way. Lizzy got sick while we were in New Orleans and had to take an antibiotic the whole trip. It didn't slow her down too much. Will met a ton of kids and we rarely saw him. John loved the water but was very protective of Sissy. He made sure she didn't go anywhere without him. Here are some pics.

Amewican Idow

Took Will and John to see Kris Allen this afternoon! Will was yelling and screaming, while John John sat on my shoulders asking me, "Is dis Amewican Idow?" They both had a blast, and now we're hoping he wins this thing so Will can brag to his buddies that he got to see Kris when he came to town. You know how it is for a 9 year old...

Holy March Madness!

It's that time again! March Madness is here! This is the time of year for all of the armchair office poolers to get off your lazy bums and do your research so you can say you knew EXACTLY what you were doing when you come in first place in that NCAA office pool. You know, the one that you guessed the teams by closing your eyes and pointing to a team to advance. Yeah, that one.

Busy week for me last week. John John was a little sick towards the end of the week, and I had to head to Memphis for a lunch and in-service with one of my accounts. I like Memphis most of the time, but it happened to be icy/rainy and cold as all hell, so this trip wasn't so much fun. I ended up walking across the street from my hotel and watching the Hogs get their rear ends whooped, and then the 6OT Syracuse/UConn game. Wow!

I'm looking forward to a relaxing weekend punctuated by a Sunday of kickball. Should be fun! I've included a pic of my kickass kickball team!

First things first...

Okay, I'm not a blogger, nor do I claim to be, but apparently Helen isn't going to take the reins on this. That leaves me, the patriarchal heir of the Paulson family, to right this blog ship. Now don't expect verbose dissertations or rambling nonsense, just the facts ma'am. We are the Paulson family, and we have three (mostly) wonderful children. The oldest is Will, who is 9, followed by John John, 2, and bringing up the rear is Lizzy, our one year old. They keep us pretty busy, but we still try to have a lot of fun. Our activities include taking them to the park or the lake. Basically, anything that wears them out and gets them to bed on time works for us. I will attempt to update this blog on a fairly regular basis, and may even get Will or John John to help sometimes. Hope you enjoy!
